The following recipes are some of my favorite ways to make coffee from home. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Each recipe is unique and has a different flavor. You may not like these, and that is okay! Trying something new might just introduce you to a new favorite.
#1: French Press

French press is a very unique process of brewing coffee. It is definitely a slower method, but don't let the slight inconvenience of it get in the way of the delicious flavor.
Ingredients: (for 1x)
2-3 scoops coarse ground coffee beans (the lighter the roast the better)
10 oz hot water
nitro creamer to taste
How to make it:
Heat water in a hot water pot.*
Follow the brewing instructions that are included with the french press. I couldn't find the exact french press I use, but you can click here * for a similar one.
Pour coffee into a mug.
Shake the nitro creamer and add as much as you like. I personally don't add very much because it's so sweet.
#2: Cold Brew

One of the more popular methods of making coffee right now, cold brew is a refreshing take on coffee at home. With this method, you brew the coffee in advance and have the black coffee waiting for you in the fridge for when you want to make yourself a cup of cold brew.
Ingredients: (for 1x)
6oz cold brew ( I make my own with a cold brew maker *)
8oz milk of your choice ( I use 2% or whole)
3-4 ice cubes
sugar and/or flavored syrup of your choosing
How to makeit:
Pour the milk and cold brew together.
Add the ice
Add sugar or syrup to your liking and stir
#3: Whipped Coffee

Also referred to as Dalgona coffee, Whipped coffee is easily one of my favorite ways to make iced coffee. It's so good. It definitely has a stronger coffee flavor to it, but that's because it's made with instant coffee.
Ingredients: (for 1x)
1 1/2 Tbsp Nescafe Tasters Choice French Roast instant coffee
1 1/2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 Tbsp water
2 ice cubes
1/2 Cup milk of your choice
Pumpkin spice to dust the top (optional)
How to make it:
Put instant coffee, sugar and water in a medium size bowl.
Use a whisk or whisk attachment to mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy and has the appearance of peanut butter. I use a tool called Gourmia GHB2360 12 Speed Immersion Hand Blender with a whisk attachment.* This thing is a life saver compared to using a hand whisk for this recipe.
Put the ice cubes in a small mason jar. Pour milk over the ice.
Spoon the coffee mixture on top of the milk. Dust with pumpkin spice.
Use a spoon or straw to mix before drinking. The coffee mix on its own is very bitter. I learned the hard way. Learn from my mistakes!
