The following books have impacted my life so powerfully that they have sparked change in the way I live. If you're looking for something new to read but don't know what to read next, I can't recommend these books enough!

#1: Own Your Everyday by Jordan Lee Dooley
Not only did this book change my life, Jordan's podcast SHE, also has a huge impact on my life. Jordan is a woman that God has gifted the ability to teach, encourage and share her knowledge in many different areas of her life to help empower and love other young women in the areas God has called them to. I am one of those women. Both this book and her podcast have helped me build a foundation for my business, blog and social media platforms. I would consider these to be self-help resources, and if you're interested, you can find a copy of Own Your Everyday by Jordan Lee Dooley * here.
#2: Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Peter Scazzero
Holy cow, is this book powerful! I first read this book my freshman year of college, then again my junior year, and I want to read it again. As your life changes, so does the impact of this book. You learn something new every single time you read EHS. It helped me uncover things I didn't even know I was struggling with, identify them, and grow through them. This book triggered so much growth in my relationships and faith. This book truly does help you grow in emotional and spiritual health. #3: The Bible
Okay, I know this seems obvious, but I want to ask you a question. Do you actually read it? I'm not here to guilt you into reading the Bible cuz you shouldn't read your Bible out of guilt. I simply want to encourage you to read it to learn. Learn more about who God is, get to know Him through a personal relationship with Him (you're reading His word. It's literally a conversation with Him.), and in doing so, learn more about yourself. The more you read the Bible, the more God will speak to your heart and challenge you. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself. It can be hard so stay focused, especially if you feel called out, but c'mon, discipline always leads to good things. Read however much is comfortable for you. One verse? Go for it. One chapter? Do it! A whole book? More power to ya! I find it helpful to use a study bible to help me understand what I'm reading. Here's a link to the Bible I use: ESV Study Bible *
