Money doesn't buy happiness. While I am recommending 5 items, its not the object itself but the experience that brings me joy. God has blessed you and me with different tastes and styles and if these objects don't float your boat like they do mine, that's totally okay. Maybe you'll get lucky and find something new to enjoy!

My rolling garden box will soon be filled with an assortment of veggies on the balcony of my apartment. Im looking forward to fresh veggies and herbs to make delicious meals for my husband and to save a little money on groceries. Grocery prices seem to be going up and this is one way I'm trying to save a bit. I recently painted the front of it to say "vegetable garden" and you can find a video of me painting it on my Instagram.

This bird feeder and bird bath combo clamps onto the railing of our balcony for both convenience and necessity. As renters, my husband and I can't hang a bird feeder from the roof of our balcony, so this was one of our only options. I love watching birds in the mornings and so do our cats!

#3: The Selection Series Books

Okay, the first time I read this series was in high school. It was one of my favorites then, so I bought the whole series. I recently re-read the whole series and man, they're still so good! This series is written in a fictional world, where China won WW2, took over the United States, and the people won it back. They now have a king, and the Selection is about the prince choosing a bride from different areas of the country. I love this series simply for the fact that it keeps you on your toes, nose stuck in the book, and isn't simply about romance. There's rebellion, fierce love for family and friends, and the author teaches you the history of this new country. It's a must-read.

I love putting funny quotes on my letterboard to get eye rolls from my husband. He thinks I'm ridiculous, but that's what makes it fun! With Easter around the corner, I currently have "Yolo, lol, jk, brb. -Jesus" on the board. I think this one got the biggest eye roll yet!

#5: Glass Water Bottle

My best friend got this bottle for me as a gift a little while ago and I take it everywhere. I've dropped it a few times and the glass hasn't broken yet, so it's pretty durable. You can pick your favorite color-they have lots. I have the orangey peach one linked, and I love the contrast it has with the wooden lid. I'm weird and have to have a water bottle with a straw or I don't drink enough, so this bottle does wonders for me.
